Globe has introduced two new digital offerings designed to make entertainment and connectivity easier to access for Filipino users. The company unveiled the Globe At Home 5G Loop and Beetzee Play during “The Blueprint,” highlighting their goal of reshaping how Filipinos stream and stay connected.
The Globe At Home 5G Loop marks a global first as a portable, touchscreen-powered 5G broadband device, giving users both high-speed internet and built-in entertainment features. On the other hand, Beetzee Play stands out as the country’s first “Piso-Serye” streaming service, offering vertical video episodes for just one peso each.

Globe At Home 5G Loop: Broadband Reinvented
Globe launched the 5G Loop, a hybrid portable broadband device that delivers fiber-like speeds with unlimited data. The unit includes a touchscreen, speaker, camera, and supports apps like YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok. Future updates will add eSIM capability for even greater flexibility.
“The Globe At Home 5G Loop is fiber-like speeds that connect effortlessly, and it’s a home Wi-Fi that moves with you. This 5G technology is perfectly engineered for Wi-Fi sharing experiences, bringing home with you wherever life happens. So this next generation of home solution is tailored fit for modern families like us who enjoy streaming or bonding over music,” said Abby Cardino, Globe’s vice president of broadband business.
Beetzee Play: Localized Streaming for Everyday Use
Accessible through the GlobeOne app, Beetzee Play requires no downloads or monthly subscriptions, with initial episodes available for free. Viewers can pay for additional content seamlessly through GCash, making it a low-cost and hassle-free streaming platform. Its first original film, Saving Sarah, is already live, while First Things First is showing exclusively until September 5.
“Filipinos are natural storytellers, and we believe entertainment should spark connection, not just consumption. We’re reimagining content experiences to be instant, inclusive, and deeply personal. In a world of constant noise and fleeting attention, these innovations offer meaningful moments that stand out, whether it’s a one-peso episode that turns idle time into escape or a shared screen that fosters real connection across distances,” said Chelo Flores, Globe’s director of marketing strategic partnerships.
Flores also emphasized its cultural focus. “More than just content, it’s a new way for content discovery. We’re serving up entertainment that’s affordable, accessible, and designed for your five-minute break. It’s intelligent, culturally resonant, and it fits seamlessly into the rhythms of Filipino life,” she explained.
Technological Innovation for Filipinos
Both launches form part of Globe’s “Designing Delight” innovation pillar, with other initiatives focused on progress, personalization, security, and customer impact. Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz summed up the company’s vision: “At Globe, we believe innovation must always serve a greater purpose.
The Blueprint is a reminder that every product we build, every service we design, is meant to make daily life easier, safer, and more meaningful for Filipinos. By keeping inclusivity at the heart of our journey, we ensure progress is something every Filipino can share in.”
