Local officials in Isabela proudly describe the Bambanti Festival as more than a mere celebration; it's a demonstration of gratitude for the consistently rich agricultural harvest and a tribute to the diligence, resilience, and vigilance of Isabela's farmers. The festival – centered around the iconic Bambanti, a scarecrow in the local Ilocano language – symbolizes the traditional role of these figures in protecting crops from birds and pests in the rice fields.

With the theme “Ettam ngana ta Isabela” (Tara na sa Isabela), meaning "Let's go to Isabela" in Ybanag, the festival extends a warm invitation to visitors to explore, experience, and embrace the charm of the Queen Province of the North.

From January 22 to 27, the festival includes various events such as the Search for Queen Isabela 2024, Agri-Ecotourism Exhibit and Sale, Giant Bambanti Showcase, Street Dance and Dance Showdown Competitions, Festival King and Queen, Makan ken Mainum, Music Festival, Fun Run, Bubble and Rave Party, Grand Concert, and Grand Fireworks Display. The festival truly encapsulates the vibrancy and diversity of Isabela's culture and agriculture.
