Thin layers of volcanic ash fell over parts of Albay early Thursday, January 8 following a lava dome collapse at the summit of Mayon Volcano. Students at San Jose Elementary School in Urdaneta City continue to hold classes in temporary, crowded spaces as the construction of 16 new classrooms falls behind schedule.
