Something big is revving up in Pampanga and it’s not just the engines as the country’s largest and most advanced motorsports complex will rise at the Pradera Verde Racing Circuit (PRVC) in Barangay Sto. Niño, Lubao.

On a sprawling 42-hectare property, the PRVC recently broke ground, setting the wheels in motion for a project that promises to put Central Luzon on the global racing map. Behind its design is none other than Tilke Engineers & Architects—the German firm behind many of Formula 1’s most iconic race tracks worldwide. That alone gives a hint of just how world-class this development will be.

A Racing Destination Like No Other

The centerpiece of PRVC is a 4.8-kilometer track with 17 challenging turns and multiple layout configurations, catering to everything from local competitions to international motorsport events. It will also feature a drag strip, a sleek V-shaped pit building with 44 garages, and other high-end facilities designed to thrill both drivers and spectators.

Driving Growth and Opportunity

The new PRVC project is more than just speed and spectacle–it’s also about opportunity. According to Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda, PRVC is poised to boost tourism, create jobs, and energize local businesses, not only in Lubao but throughout the whole region.

“This is more than a racetrack. It’s a symbol of growth, opportunity, and world-class ambition for Pampanga,” said Hisham Ibrahim of Tilke Engineers. “We’re honored to help bring this vision to life,” he added.

More Than Just Motorsports

True to that vision, PRVC is shaping up to be more than just a playground for motorsports fans. Plans include training programs for aspiring racers, trackside villas for guests, and community projects to promote local talent and tourism.

With an 18-month construction timeline, the race is on to complete this massive project. Once the engines roar to life, PRVC promises not just adrenaline, but progress and pride for the whole of Central Luzon.
