Antique’s serene nature and tourist spots continue to attract more visitors, according to the local government’s tourism office. 

According to a partial report on tourist arrivals from January to September 2023, the Antique Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (APTCAO) stated that the number of visitors in 2022 has already been surpassed.

In 2023, there were 697,414 same-day visits over the same period; however, once all 18 municipalities complete their figures, that number could rise to over a million.

To unravel the beauty of Antique, one’s tourism list would not be complete without these three spots. 

Kawa Baths in Tibiao

Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Tibiao in Antique, Philippines, lies the famous Kawa Baths.

Kawa Baths have gained popularity for its natural hot tubs crafted from repurposed metal 'kawas.  Formerly used for sugar processing, they have been transformed into relaxing soaking tubs that immerse guests in thermal baths.

Oversized kawas are heated using firewood, infusing the water with minerals and warmth that promise a restorative break for tourists' tired bodies.

A gem tucked away in the center of Antique's natural beauty, the Bugang River is well-known for its ecological significance, adventure options, and breathtaking views.

The Bugang River presents various opportunities for adventure seekers, boasting activities like river tubing, kayaking, and bamboo rafting against a backdrop of lush greenery and landscapes. 

The primary source of water for the town, the river is six kilometers long and is overseen by the Bugang Ecotourism Organization.
