As fuel prices continue to rise, Grab Philippines is rolling out PHP 350 million in support to help ease the burden on its driver- and delivery-partners, many of whom rely on daily trips to provide for their families.
At the heart of the Grab Bayanihan Fuel Crisis Support Program are measures designed to help partners keep more of what they earn. These include added incentives, spot bonuses, and commission rebates.
Grab also introduced Grab Turbo, a new driving mode that helps driver-partners access more responsive incentives and improve their earning potential. With these combined efforts, the company said its effective commission rate for four-wheel services has been reduced to around 15 percent.
To give partners a clearer picture of their income, Grab launched a Digital Earnings Tracker, allowing drivers to easily review their fares, incentives, and take-home pay.
More support for riders on the road
Delivery riders are also receiving added support, with over PHP 50 million in bonuses already distributed as of mid-April. For those looking to reduce fuel costs, Grab is offering bicycle subsidies to help partners shift to bike deliveries.
Partners may also receive grocery credits, fuel discounts, and medical vouchers, depending on their performance—practical forms of support that go beyond the road and into everyday needs.
Easing fuel costs today, building for tomorrow
To help bring down fuel expenses, Grab has partnered with fuel providers to offer pump discounts to both car and motorcycle partners, including those under MOVE IT. Through its partnership with Seaoil, partners have already saved over PHP 2 million on fuel, with additional rebates provided through Shell Fleet Cards.
Looking ahead, Grab is also opening doors to more sustainable options through its Eco-Drive Initiative. In partnership with institutions like BDO and BPI, and automakers such as Toyota and BYD, the program helps drivers access electric and hybrid vehicles through more flexible financing.
As fuel costs remain unpredictable, Grab said it will continue to adjust its support—focused on helping partners stay on the road, sustain their livelihoods, and keep moving forward.
