Cebu Pacific (CEB) has been recognized as the Best Airline at the 2025 Routes Asia Awards, reaffirming its commitment to regional connectivity and strong industry partnerships.

Expanding Reach and Strengthening Networks

CEB President Xander Lao highlighted the significance of this award, stating, "This recognition reflects the strength of our network strategy and, more importantly, the partnerships we’ve built with our airport partners and stakeholders." The airline remains committed to making air travel more accessible and strengthening its presence in key Asian markets.

In 2024, CEB introduced 28 new routes—19 domestic and nine international—connecting passengers to popular destinations such as Chiang Mai, Kaohsiung, and Sapporo. The airline also established new hubs in Davao and Iloilo, enhancing connectivity alongside its primary hubs in Manila, Cebu, and Clark.

Contribution to Tourism and Economic Growth

The Routes Asia Awards honor airlines, airports, and tourism authorities that significantly contribute to route development and tourism in the Asia-Pacific region. Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism XI, praised CEB’s role in Davao’s growth, stating, "Cebu Pacific has played a pivotal role in making Davao more accessible to both local and international travelers, boosting the region’s economic and tourism landscape."

CEB’s "Fly to Happy, Fly to the Philippines!" campaign further reinforces its efforts to promote tourism by showcasing the country’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Investing in the Future

To support its expansion, CEB made a historic purchase of 152 Airbus aircraft—the largest in Philippine aviation history. This investment aligns with the airline’s long-term plan to modernize its fleet and meet the growing demand for air travel.

Currently, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, solidifying its position as a leading carrier in the region.
