Ramos, Dee, and Panlilio have since denied the allegations.

A personal driver has filed a complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) accusing actress Rhian Ramos and beauty queens Michelle Dee and Samantha Panlilio of physical assault, torture, and serious illegal detention, following the dismissal of a qualified case earlier filed against him.

Alleged Assault at Makati

The complainant, under the alias “Totoy,” alleged that he was assaulted and illegally detained from January 17 to 19 inside a condominium unit in Makati City shared by Ramos and Dee. He claimed that the incident began at around 3AM on January 17, after returning from a taping with Ramos, when he was accosted and beaten by the actress’ bodyguards.

According to “Totoy,” the beatings continued for several hours and into the following day. Dee and Panlilio allegedly joined in the assault, along with the bodyguards and other personnel. He also claimed that during the alleged detention, he attempted to escape by jumping from the 39th floor of the building but was caught on a cable, preventing a fatal fall, and was later brought back to the unit and allegedly assaulted again.

Police Blotter and Theft Complaint

On January 18, Dee filed a barangay blotter accusing “Totoy” of grabbing her arm during a confrontation over allegedly stolen photographs. She also filed a qualified theft complaint at the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.

“Totoy” denied taking the items and claimed he was later taken to a police station, where he said he was detained and assaulted while being questioned. The prosecutor’s office dismissed the complaint on January 22, citing procedural issues, and “Totoy” was released.

NBI Complaint and Responses

On January 28, “Totoy” filed a formal complaint before the NBI against Ramos, Dee, Panlilio, their bodyguards, and several police officers, alleging assault, torture, and serious illegal detention.

Legal counsel for Ramos and Dee denied the allegations, describing them as “physically impossible” and citing records showing that the latter was in Iloilo on January 17 for pageant-related activities. Panlilio, through her lawyers, also denied the claims, calling them a “pure fabrication.”

Ongoing Investigation

The NBI confirmed that it is reviewing all statements and evidence, including CCTV footage, flight records, and medical findings. No formal criminal case has yet been filed in court in connection with the allegations.
