Looking for a job, a scholarship, or a way to level up your skills? TESDA’s new mobile app, the TESDA Skills Passport, brings all of these opportunities to your fingertips. Launched on February 5 at the Makabagong San Juan Theater in San Juan City, the app was unveiled by TESDA alongside President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., marking a major step toward modernizing technical-vocational education in the Philippines.
The app acts as a one-stop digital hub where users can browse jobs, connect with employers, enroll in free training courses, and apply for TESDA scholarships. It also securely stores national certifications and training records, with a QR-enabled resume that makes sharing your credentials with employers quick and easy.
Find Jobs and Connect with Employers
TESDA Skills Passport functions like a job-matching platform. Users can create profiles and explore listings that show salary, job type, work setup, and location. TESDA is partnering with multiple job portals to bring more opportunities into the app.
Employers can also search for skilled workers. Through a swipe-based interface, they can review profiles and connect with candidates. TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez said the app is designed to reduce job mismatch, helping connect qualified workers with available roles more efficiently.
Upskill with Learning Paths and Scholarships
The app’s Learning Paths feature lets users take free e-TESDA courses in areas like agriculture, cookery, beauty care, entrepreneurship, and ICT. Even overseas Filipino workers can join these online programs.
The Scholarship feature allows users to apply for TESDA-funded programs, submit requirements, and track application status—all online. Users can also find TESDA-accredited training institutions across the country.
Secure, Smart, and Easy to Use
The app keeps certifications and training records safe using blockchain technology and offers guidance through Prof. K, its AI chatbot. President Marcos highlighted that the platform brings opportunities closer to Filipinos, making education and skills development more accessible than ever.
The TESDA Skills Passport is available for download on iOS and Android devices. Your shortcut to jobs, learning, and scholarships is just a tap away.
