In preparation for the holidays, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is increasing flight frequencies and launching new routes to major domestic and international locations.
"Our goal is to help people reunite with their loved ones and we’re committed to expand our services to meet the needs of our customers and make holiday travel as convenient as possible,” PAL President Stanley Ng said.
New flights
On December 22, the airline will resume service between Cebu and Osaka Kansai.
PAL will operate flights from Clark to Seoul and Kalibo to Seoul from January 2 to March 4, as well as the Cebu-Seoul Incheon trip from December 21 to March 4.
In high-demand regional routes like Manila-Tokyo (Narita), Manila-Bangkok, and Manila-Singapore, more wide-body aircraft will be used.
In addition to a newly announced service from Seattle and an expansion of daily services from Brisbane, direct flights from Australia and the US will add a weekly trip from Melbourne until January 12.
More domestic options
From December 15 to January 12, PAL will be operating 74 more round-trip flights to domestic destinations, including between Manila and Caticlan (Boracay), Bacolod, Cagayan, Iloilo, Tacloban, Busuanga (Coron), Legazpi (Daraga).
The same will be operated between Cebu and Caticlan, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Legazpi, Siargao, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, and Busuanga.
PAL will also begin daily flights from Manila to Cauayan on January 15.
