Cebu Pacific (CEB) celebrated the most famous reasons to travel to the Philippines by taking up Dubai's Burj Khalifa with a "Fly to Happy, Fly to the Philippines" light and sound show.

The display, which was projected onto the tallest building in the world, captured the natural beauty of the Philippines as well as the kindness and smiles of Filipinos.

Stunning locations including the Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, and Mt. Apo in Davao, as well as the well-known beaches of Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu, were projected onto the highest structure in the world.

Inviting tourists

The purpose of this campaign was to provide Filipinos living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a nostalgic glimpse of their homeland while also inviting tourists from all over the world to see the Philippines’ different tourist attractions.

CEB serves more than 60 locations throughout the Middle East, Australia, and Asia. With hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Davao, it offers inter-island connections in the Philippines thanks to its largest network.

The airline's website states that travelers can immediately reserve cheap flights to the Philippines for travel in early 2025 from major international hubs, including Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and the Middle East.

Sharing a piece of home

In a press statement, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao stated, "We're honored to share a bit of home on such a grand stage."

“This is a celebration of Philippine pride and an invitation for travelers to connect with the unique beauty, culture, and warmth that our country offers."
