Carnival Cruise Line, considered one of the biggest cruise lines in the world, arrived in Manila for the first time ever. From Singapore, the ship is traveling across the Pacific for 25 days to reach Long Beach, California, in the United States. Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Guam, and Hawaii are among its destinations.
Together with local dignitaries and officials of Cruise Administration Services, Inc., Carnival Panorama's shipboard leaders, Capt. Luca Lazzarino, Chief Engineer Stefano Gazzolo, and Hotel Director Hector Groves, spearheaded the commemorative activities.
Carnival Journeys
Carnival Journeys offers customers one-of-a-kind travel experiences through a limited number of exceptional, lengthier sailings.
During Carnival Panorama's voyage to the Philippines, crew members could go ashore and spend time with their families while also providing tourists with a brief overview of Manila's historic city.
Over 400 Filipinos comprise the 1,400 staff members and approximately 4,000 passengers on Carnival Panorama. Jojo Pechayco, the Finance Director, has been with the company for 25 years and is the highest-ranking Filipino employee.
More on the cruise
Carnival Panorama now has a number of improvements after completing a 24-day dry dock in Singapore.
With its distinctive red, white, and blue hull livery, the ship is the last of Carnival Cruise Line's 27 ships to have this design.
Established in 2019, the 1,055-foot-long Carnival Panorama–which can accommodate 4,000 passengers and 1,450 crew members–is headquartered in Long Beach, California.
