A legendary sci-fi movie soundtrack will be available for fans to enjoy as Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert comes to Manila, according to Film Concerts PH.

The concert will feature two shows on September 7 at 7 p.m. and on September 8 at 2 p.m. at The Theater at Solaire.

"The movie that started it all is coming back to the big screen, backed by the live performance of a full orchestra," Film Concerts PH said in its promotional material.

What to expect

A live performance of the Oscar-winning John Williams score from the first film of the Star Wars series, performed by the Filharmonika Orchestra, will accompany the film's full screening.

The full orchestra will be conducted by seasoned conductor Gerard Salonga.

The COVID-19 epidemic caused the same film concert scheduled for 2020 to be postponed. Now, it is on pace. Now, it is expected to provide Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and the droid pair R2-D2 and C-3PO with a melodic voyage beyond the cosmos.

All for Star Wars fanatics

For all ardent Star Wars enthusiasts, Film Concerts PH will have a limited pre-sale on June 3 at 10 a.m. prior to June 5th, when the public goes on sale.

Tickets are available on the Ticketworld website and in all of their locations around the country.

The narrative centers on the Rebel Alliance, a group of fighters out to overthrow the oppressive Galactic Empire.

Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and the late Carrie Fisher lead the cast.
