The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has opened applications for 265 fully-funded scholarships available to Filipino students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Saudi universities. The program is part of a 30-year educational cooperation between the two countries.
Comprehensive Support for Selected Scholars
Each scholarship covers full tuition, a monthly stipend of SAR800 to SAR2,000 (PHP11,800 to PHP29,600), free accommodation, medical insurance, and annual roundtrip airfare. Students will also take part in cultural and community programs aimed at promoting intercultural understanding.
“This initiative is part of a broader relationship between our countries, rooted in decades of academic and cultural exchange,” said Saudi Ambassador-Designate Faisal Ebraheem Alghamdi in Makati City. “These scholarships are a bridge between our youth, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.”

Applicants must be 17 to 25 years old for bachelor's or Arabic diploma programs, and 35 or younger for postgraduate studies. Those residing in or outside Saudi Arabia may apply through the Ministry of Education’s portal at https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa.

“We look forward to welcoming talented Filipino students who will contribute to the growing academic and cultural ties between our nations,” said Ambassador Alghamdi.
