Learning complex Pinoy vocabulary is similar to opening the doors to Filipino culture. Examining them enables us to relish the beauty of our native tongue, express our feelings more fully, and establish a connection with our roots. Here are some examples:

Himutok

This deep Pinoy word indicates a profound sigh of frustration or sadness rather than one of relief.

Example: Siya ay naghihimutok sa galit.

Ligalig

This deep Pinoy term can indicate being boisterous, restless, or nervous, depending on how you say it.

Example: SIya ay isang batang maligalig.

Alimuom

This alludes to the pungent smell of the damp ground, particularly after a rainstorm.

Example: Magkakasakit ka kapag maka-amoy ka ng alimuom.

Bagwis

This is a reference to the remiges, or simply flight feathers, of the wings.

Example: Siya ay lumipag gamit ang malaking bagwis.

Considering how rich the Filipino language is, it is easy to learn more each day. Just like the old adage says, learning never stops.
