Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards will reprise their roles in “Hello, Love, Again,” the follow-up to the smash hit "Hello, Love, Goodbye" from 2019.
Following weeks of rumors, ABS-CBN's Star Cinema and GMA Pictures announced their collaboration to produce the sequel, and continue the stories of Alden's character, Ethan and Kathryn's character, Joy.
Before the news broke out, ABS-CBN's Star Cinema and GMA Pictures had also hinted at the sequel.

Cathy Garcia-Sampana, who also directed the first movie, will take charge of the follow-up film.
The story itself, which centers on Joy (Bernardo) and Ethan (Richards), will take place in Canada and is set five years after the former bid the latter farewell and moved to Canada to fulfill her dreams.
Upon their reunion in Canada following a struggle for their love to triumph over time, space, and a "global shutdown", Joy and Ethan find that they have both experienced tremendous personal growth, according to a post by the Kapamilya Channel..
Hello, Love, Goodbye narrates the stories of Joy and Nathan, two Filipino expatriates who work in Hong Kong. The movie looks at Joy's challenges as the family's provider and her aspirations to achieve more, while Nathan struggles with familial responsibilities and personal goals.
Re-making history
Before Rewind overtook it in January 2024, Hello, Love Goodbye was the highest-grossing Filipino film ever, with a total income of P880 million.
It was the first joint project that Richards and Bernardo worked on. The 2019 film was also the first picture that ABS-CBN's Star Cinema and GMA Network's GMA Pictures worked on together.
While there are still no confirmed specifics–such as the other actors that would return to reprise their roles from the previous film–Hello, Love, Again will be scheduled to be released on November 13, 2024.
