Sam Milby has revealed that he and former Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray are no longer together.
Announcing their separation, the star told ABS-CBN News that they were "okay."
Internet users pointed out that Catriona had not been wearing her engagement ring in her posts late last year. Following the removal of her engagement pictures with Sam, Catriona stoked split rumors.
No third party
Sam claims that he no longer wanted to delve into specifics since he knew that others would just throw their opinion on him.
However, he cleared last February that no third party was involved in the breakup.
"There was never a third party sa amin ni Cat. That needs to be cleared. There is no truth to it at all,” Sam said.
Hurtful breakup
It has been difficult for Sam, who claims that "no breakup is easy."
"It wasn't only [because] mag-boyfriend, girlfriend kami. We were engaged," Sam lamented.
Sam, who broke to tears, remarked that he didn't "expect to be this emotional" because it's a "hard subject" that he no longer wants to discuss.
