The “Nation's Girl Group,” BINI was named the top OPM artist of 2024 with the release of the new Official Philippines Chart.
Supported by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and the Philippine Recorded Music Rights Inc. (PRM), the event highlighted BINI's impact in 2024, which elevated them as one of the country’s powerhouses in the industry.
BINI’s 2024 rise
Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena from BINI were honored for their number-one songs and notable ascent in the previous year.
Additionally, their songs "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin" came in fourth and fifth place, respectively, in the Top 10 Local Songs of the Year list.
BINI received their award days after their three-day, sold-out "BINIverse" globe tour began at the Philippine Arena, kicking off tour dates to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Dubai.
Other winners
Hev Abi, Ben&Ben, Cup of Joe, Arthur Nery, Dionela, TJ Monterde, Maki, Al James, and Flow G are just behind BINI in the rankings.
Additionally, Monterde received recognition for his hit song "Palagi," which won the Top Local Song of the Year award.
Maki's "Dilaw," Dionela and Jay-R's "Sining," BINI's "Salamin, Salamin" and "Pantropiko," Gins&melodies and Hev Abi's "Babaero," Hev Abi's "Walang Alam" and "Alam Mo Ba Girl," Cup of Joe and Janine Teñoso's "Tingin," and Arthur Nery's "Take All The Love" are some more songs that hit the Top 10 in the debuting chart.
