President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday, October 21, officially launched the Toll Collection System Interoperability Project, also known as “One RFID, All Tollways,” marking a milestone in the government’s push for smarter and more efficient road travel across Luzon. The project eliminates the need for multiple RFID stickers and accounts when passing through different toll expressways, making travel simpler and faster for motorists.

One Sticker, One System for All Expressways

With the new system now in effect, motorists can use just one RFID sticker for all toll roads operated by major expressway providers in Luzon. The move addresses long-standing complaints from drivers who previously had to maintain separate RFID accounts for different tollways, often leading to confusion, longer queues, and payment delays.

“We are listening to the concerns of our fellow Filipinos. That’s why we studied the problem and found a good solution,” President Marcos said in Filipino. “From now on, only one RFID sticker is needed for all toll expressways across Luzon,” he added.

He also announced that group and fleet accounts—for companies and public transport operators—will be launched next year to further improve convenience and operational efficiency.

Seamless Travel and Modernized Infrastructure

The One RFID initiative forms part of the administration’s broader effort to modernize infrastructure and streamline public services. Marcos said the goal is to ensure a direct, uninterrupted journey from north to south, reducing stress and time spent at toll gates.

During the launch, the President personally observed the online registration process with RFID service providers Autosweep and Easytrip, symbolizing the start of the system’s full integration. He also witnessed the removal of redundant RFID stickers from vehicles, leaving only one functional tag per unit.

Motorists can register for the new system by following three steps:

  • * Opt in online and select a preferred RFID provider.
  • * Remove unused stickers at authorized service centers.
  • * Load funds into the active RFID account.

The One RFID, All Tollways project marks a major step toward smoother travel, reduced congestion, and a more connected Luzon road network.
