Motorcycle vlogger Yanna Lady Rider, known as “Yanna Moto Vlog,” is facing legal scrutiny and public backlash after a road rage incident in Zambales went viral online.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned Yanna following President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to promote road safety. According to LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, Yanna will be asked to explain why her driver's license should not be suspended or revoked for allegedly initiating the confrontation.
“Matagal na tayong nagpapaliwanag na walang mabuting idinudulot ang init ng ulo sa kalsada,” Mendoza said. He added that as a social media personality, Yanna should have promoted responsible driving instead of inciting conflict.
Viral Video Prompts Public Outcry
In the video, Yanna is seen making a middle finger gesture at a pick-up truck driver whom she accused of reckless driving. The man later confronted her, explaining that rough road conditions made normal driving difficult. Despite this, Yanna continued to argue and hurled insults as the man walked away.
The son of the pick-up driver, Harry James Pascua, has confirmed they will file a formal complaint against Yanna.
Zambales Declares Yanna Persona Non Grata
In response to the incident, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zambales passed Resolution No. 2025-14-69, declaring Yanna persona non grata. Officials cited her behavior as disruptive to public peace. Under the resolution, she is barred from entering the province unless for legitimate, government-approved reasons.
While Yanna has issued an apology following online backlash, LTO said the investigation will continue.
