Bell-Kenz Pharma continues to strengthen its life-saving initiatives through the ongoing Sagip CPR program in partnership with key government agencies. The recent “Paghahanda Para sa Oplan Biyaheng Ayos 2026: Sagip CPR” activity aimed to prepare transport frontliners with essential Hands-Only CPR and emergency response skills ahead of the Holy Week travel period.
The program underscores Sagip CPR’s mission to equip personnel across land, sea, and air transportation sectors with the knowledge and confidence to respond to medical emergencies. The recent activity specifically focused on training responders at major transportation hubs such as the EDSA Busway terminals and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), ensuring frontliners are prepared during peak travel times.

Training Frontliners for Critical Moments
The collaboration brought together Bell-Kenz Pharma, the Department of Transportation’s Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation, the Philippine Coast Guard, the Department of Justice – Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking, PITX, and the Mega Manila Bus Consortia. Over 800 participants, including coast guard personnel, government employees, drivers, conductors, and terminal staff, attended the session.
Bell-Kenz led discussions on heart health, preventing illnesses in public transport, Hands-Only CPR, and proper use of automated external defibrillators, while the Department of Justice shared guidance on the Anti-Trafficking Law and Safe Spaces Act.
Kaagapay in Life-Saving Advocacy
Dr. Luis Raymond T. Go, Medical Director of Bell-Kenz Pharma, emphasized the company’s commitment to its advocacy.
“We at Bell-Kenz are truly honored and humbled to stand as a committed Kaagapay in ‘Paghahanda Para sa Oplan Biyaheng Ayos 2026: Sagip CPR,’ Dr. Go expressed. “Today marks a historic milestone. This initiative represents the largest Sagip CPR collaboration to date — a powerful testament to what can be achieved when the government and private sector unite behind one shared, lifesaving purpose.”
He also highlighted the guiding principle behind Bell-Kenz’s work. “To us, being a Kaagapay is not simply a tagline — it is a responsibility. It means standing side by side with every Filipino family, especially in moments of vulnerability. It means going beyond providing medicines and extending support through education, prevention, and empowerment.”
As more Filipinos rely on public transportation, Bell Kenz’s Sagip CPR continues to reinforce a culture of preparedness among transport personnel, ensuring that responders have the skills and confidence to act decisively in emergencies, helping make every journey a safer one.
