BarakoFest Returns To Lipa City This March

Festivalgoers in Southern Luzon can once again mark their calendars as BarakoFest makes its comeback from March 26 to 28 in Lipa City. Organizer, Mentorque, confirmed that the three-day event will take place along the Manila-Batangas Bypass Road, mounted in partnership with the provincial government of Batangas and the Lipa City government.

Widely regarded as one of the region’s most anticipated multi-experience gatherings, the festival is set in a purpose-built open-air venue designed to host large crowds and deliver an immersive atmosphere. This year’s edition aims to blend entertainment, culture, and community engagement into one expansive celebration.

Ben&Ben Leads First Wave of Artists

Headlining the initial roster of performers is Ben&Ben, the chart-topping band known for attracting massive audiences and delivering emotionally charged live sets. Organizers noted that additional artists and festival highlights will be announced in the coming weeks, building anticipation ahead of the March event.

BarakoFest 2026 is being positioned as more than just a music showcase. Aside from live performances, attendees can expect regional cuisine, automotive displays, competitive sports activities, and cultural features that highlight the character and vibrancy of Batangas.

“With BarakoFest, we are building more than a concert. We are creating a large scale shared experience that brings people together through sound, movement, and culture,” Mentorque, the festival’s official organizer, said in explaining the concept behind the event. “The vision is to elevate the festival standard in the region while celebrating the spirit and energy of Batangas.”

A Destination Event for Southern Luzon

Preparations for the festival grounds include large-scale stage production, curated concessionaire areas, and interactive lifestyle zones, reinforcing its reputation as a major draw on the Philippine festival calendar. This year carries the theme “Feel the Energy,” reflecting the intensity and collective atmosphere organizers aim to cultivate throughout the three days.

Beyond entertainment, BarakoFest’s return is expected to boost local tourism and businesses in Lipa City and nearby areas. For residents and visitors alike, the event provides not only a shared cultural experience but also economic opportunities that support the community, highlighting how festivals can contribute to regional growth while bringing people together.
