Every AllHome and Vista Mall in Luzon is now powered by green energy.
The renewable energy division of Prime Assets Ventures Inc., PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc., is currently powering all Vista Malls and AllHome branches on the island of Luzon using solar energy.
The 14 stores in Luzon have 11,315 solar panels installed on average, with a peak power output of 432 kilowatts. This results in an average savings of 10 to 15 percent on electricity expenditures per branch.
Reducing carbon emissions
The sustainable effort, which uses rooftop solar panels to generate an average of 467,647.41 kilowatt-hours of electricity each month from all Vista Malls and AllHome Luzon branches, is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 3.75 million kg annually, or 22,526 trees.
According to PAVI Green, the initiative will save each branch's electricity bills by an average of 10 to 15 percent. Currently, Starmall San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan, Santa Rosa, Laguna, Tanza and Dasmarinas, Cavite, Bataan, and Pampanga Vista Mall branches are powered by solar energy.
Meanwhile, AllHome locations powered by solar energy can be found in the provinces of Isabela, Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija, Antipolo in Rizal, San Ildefonso in Bulacan, and Imus and Kawit in Cavite.
Future plans
The "green energy switch" supports the nation's renewable energy ambitions and is in line with the conglomerate's sustainability strategy.
Large-scale power plant projects at Orion, Bataan; San Vicente, Camarines Norte; and Naga, Camarines Sur are also being planned by PAVI Green.
PAVI is the developing green branch of Prime Asset Ventures Inc. and a major player in the nation's renewable energy market
