Importance of ICT
Information and communication technology, or ICT, is essential for police agencies to improve public safety, investigation, and crime prevention efficiency.
Having the ICT equipment, real-time data sharing, complex surveillance, digital evidence management, and efficient communication are made possible within the police divisions.
Officers are able to respond to situations more quickly and intelligently because of ICT technologies, which ultimately increases overall efficiency.
