Bell-Kenz Pharma is supporting Filipino athletes from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as they prepare to represent the country in major international sporting competitions, highlighting the shared discipline and commitment that define both public service and competitive sports.

Among those set to compete abroad is pole vaulter Riezel Buenaventura, who will represent the Philippines at the 2026 World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea. As part of its support for the athletes, Bell-Kenz Pharma is providing EnPlus Gold and other nutraceutical support in coordination with their coaches and medical teams.

Buenaventura brings international experience to the competition, having won a silver medal at the 2024 World Masters Athletics Championships in Sweden and placed sixth at the 2025 World Masters Indoor Championships in the United States.

Also preparing to represent the country at the 20th Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan are Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio and two-time Olympian Elreen Ando, alongside judoka Khrizzie Pabulayan and beach volleyball player Lerry John Francisco.

Two Missions, One Commitment

While their sporting disciplines differ, the athletes share a common responsibility beyond competition. As members of the Coast Guard, they serve Filipinos through their duties, while their athletic pursuits give them another opportunity to carry the Philippine flag abroad.

The demands of both roles require discipline, physical preparation, resilience, and commitment. For these athletes, training for international competition comes alongside the responsibilities of serving in the country's maritime security and emergency-response institution.

“Our Coast Guard athletes demonstrate that service to the country can take many forms. Whether they are responding to emergencies or competing on the world stage, they carry the same discipline, courage and commitment,” said Patrick Larraga, Corporate Branding and Public Affairs Head of Bell-Kenz Pharma.

Bell-Kenz is providing nutraceutical support to complement the athletes' training, recovery, and competition preparations, in coordination with their coaches and medical teams.

Carrying the Flag Beyond Philippine Shores

The PCG's support reflects its efforts to help its personnel pursue excellence both in their duties and in their respective fields. For Bell-Kenz, the send-off also highlights the importance of health and wellness in supporting individuals who take on demanding physical and professional commitments.

The partnership forms part of Bell-Kenz Pharma's broader efforts to support initiatives centered on health, wellness, preparedness, and excellence. It also builds on the company's collaboration with the PCG in helping personnel remain prepared for the demands of service.

The upcoming competitions will give these Coast Guard personnel another opportunity to represent the Philippines. Alongside their duties in the PCG, they continue to pursue excellence in their respective sports and carry the Philippine flag with pride.
