Actress Kaye Abad experienced a nightmare during what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation in Las Vegas. In a heartbreaking turn of events, she revealed that her bag—and with it, all her IDs and two passports—was stolen from inside their parked car.
Nightmare Vacation
Kaye shared on her Facebook page how the incident unfolded: “We went to Vegas para magbakasyon and isuroy ang kids. Never did I think that one of the places I'd end up visiting was the police station.” She added that they had parked and gone for lunch for about an hour, and when they came back, her bag was gone.
Inside her stolen bag were her IDs and two passports, major documents you never expect to lose. Understandably, she’s now advising others not to leave valuable items inside a car.
Silver Linings
Despite how alarming the situation was, Kaye remained calm and hopeful. She emphasized that what really matters is that her family is safe. In her own words: “Everything can be replaced… Importante my family is safe. God is good.”
She reflected on the incident as a lesson, reminding her followers—and everyone—that sometimes things happen for a reason. Kaye has already filed a report with the Las Vegas police, and she shared a photo of herself at the station. As of now, there hasn't been any public update about recovering her stolen items or identifying the suspects.
