P-pop girl group BINI is officially set to perform at Coachella 2026, marking a historic first for an all-Filipino pop act on the prestigious California stage. The eight-member group will appear on April 10 and April 17, joining the festival’s stacked lineup of global stars.

The Nation’s Girl Group will perform alongside big names such as Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, Foster the People, Disclosure, and Central Cee. This milestone appearance places BINI at the forefront of P-pop’s global breakthrough, elevating the genre’s presence at one of the world’s most influential music festivals.

Manifesting Their Dream Performance

BINI had openly expressed their dream of performing at Coachella earlier this year. “Manifesting. Hopefully, Coachella po,” Jhoanna shared in a February interview when asked about their goals. That dream is now a reality, making their Coachella debut not just a career highlight but a significant moment for Filipino representation on the international stage.

The group shared their excitement across social media after the lineup was revealed. “Finally! Another dream of ours is ticked off the list. Coachella here we come!!!!! THANK YOU LORD AAAAAAHHHH,” Aiah wrote on Facebook. Gwen echoed the sentiment on X, writing, “See you in Coachella? Grabe ka Lord! thank you Lord.”

BINI’s Growing Global Presence

BINI’s road to Coachella has been paved with achievements. In 2024, they became the first Filipino pop act to perform at KCon LA’s pre-show at Crypto.com Arena. Months later, they made history again by winning Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Their 2025 Biniverse World Tour brought them to audiences in the US, Canada, the UK, and the UAE, further proving their international appeal.

Known for hits like “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” and “Cherry on Top,” the group also expanded their reach with the release of their all-English BINIverse EP and collaborations with international artists. With each milestone, they have steadily built a reputation as cultural ambassadors for modern Filipino music.

A New Era for P-POP

For many non-Western acts, Coachella is a career-defining stage, drawing over 100,000 attendees per day and global media attention. BINI’s addition to the 2026 lineup cements their role in opening doors for other Filipino artists to be recognized in the international music scene.

Their performance at Coachella not only fulfills their personal dream but also signals an important moment of recognition for P-pop on the world stage. As the genre continues to grow, BINI’s historic debut stands as proof that Filipino talent can shine alongside the best in global music.
