Paris, renowned for its culinary heritage, has recently embraced a fresh and exciting addition: Adobo Paris. Situated on the picturesque Rue de la Faisanderie, this Filipino-French fusion restaurant is delighting both locals and visitors with its innovative approach to traditional Filipino dishes.

Filipino Favorites with a French Twist

Adobo Paris is redefining how Filipinos and French alike experience cuisine. The restaurant’s menu features a selection of beloved Filipino dishes, including the savory sisig, rich kare-kare, and of course, the signature adobo. This dish is prepared in the traditional Tarlac style, offering an authentic taste of the Philippines. What sets Adobo Paris apart is the way these dishes are elevated with French culinary techniques. For example, the adobo is often paired with a carefully chosen French wine, creating a unique dining experience that marries the best of both worlds. "I use French techniques to present our dishes, but the flavors remain deeply Filipino," explains RV Flores, one of the restaurant’s co-owners.

A Journey of Hard Work

The founders of Adobo Paris—RV Flores, Dominique Tiru, and Julius Ladera—paved their way to success with a mix of persistence and diverse experiences. Before opening the restaurant, they took on various jobs in France, from babysitting and housekeeping to working in Parisian kitchens. These roles not only helped them save money but also gave them valuable insights into the French culinary scene. “I took on all kinds of jobs—babysitting, housekeeping—to save up and gain diverse experiences from other Parisian restaurants before realizing our dream,” says Tiru. Their dedication and hard work culminated in a restaurant that celebrates Filipino flavors while integrating French sophistication.

A Memorable Experience Beyond the Plate

Adobo Paris isn’t just about exceptional food; it’s also about creating a vibrant atmosphere. One of its standout features is a dedicated karaoke room, where guests can enjoy singing their favorite tunes while savoring their meal. This addition has quickly made Adobo Paris a popular spot for both after-work relaxation and lively evenings with friends. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with decor that reflects both Filipino and French influences, making it a unique and memorable destination in the City of Lights.
