Channel 2 Revival: AllTV Airs Former ABS-CBN Shows

Beginning May 13, viewers will be able to watch some of the most esteemed shows of ABS-CBN on the free-to-air channel ALLTV, including the nation's longest-running news program, TV Patrol.

The news follows a contract signing ceremony held at the Brittany Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, where executives from ABS-CBN and Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), the ALLTV operator, penned the partnership.

The event was attended by executives from the Villar group, including chairman Manny Villar, Vista Land & Lifescapes president and CEO Paolo Villar, House deputy speaker and All Value Holdings Corp. president and CEO Camille Villar, Senator Mark Villar, AMBS president Maribeth Tolentino, and AMBS CFO Cecille Bernardo.

Chairman Mark Lopez, CEO and president Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, and CPO Bobby Barreiro were in attendance on behalf of ABS-CBN.

Shows airing on ALLTV

As per the agreement, TV Patrol–the longest-running evening newscast in the Philippines–will air on ALLTV.

ALLTV will also broadcast some programming from Jeepney TV, an ABS-CBN-owned pay TV network.

A simulcast of "Minute To Win It Replay," hosted by Luis Manzano which also broadcast on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z, will kick off the block at 5:45 p.m.

Three romance dramas featuring the three most popular love teams from the 2010s will get reruns from 8:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m, with the 2015 version of "Pangako Sa'yo," starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, opening at 8:00 p.m.

At 8:45 p.m., Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's popular television series "Forevermore" from 2014 will air, followed at 9:30 p.m. by the romantic comedy series "On The Wings of Love" from 2015, which stars Nadine Lustre and James Reid.

Reviving Channel 2

From Monday to Sunday, ALLTV hosts ABS-CBN's "channel 2" relaunch, which starts with the "Jeepney TV sa ALLTV" blocks. 

Daily programming runs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the morning block, then on weekdays and weekends, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the afternoon.

Between slots, ALLTV will be airing a Korean drama belt every late night in addition to its "ALLFLIX Noon Fix" block at 1:00 pm.
