The independent folk group Munimuni revealed that they will be going on a national tour to promote their third album, Alegorya, which came out on May 8, 2024.
The well-known Filipino band will perform in Baguio, La Union, Metro Manila, Lucena, Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao during the first leg of their countrywide tour.
What to expect
The five-piece band will play lengthy sets during the tour, which is co-produced and co-organized by GNN Entertainment Productions. Each city will also have guest artists to support the band.
The group expressed excitement about performing songs from their most recent album, along with some fan favorites. They also look forward to reaching out to music lovers in remote locations who might not typically see them perform live.
“We try to get tour locations where we can reach both our current listeners and new ones. In locations that are further away, although we can't possibly reach every city, we had it in mind to choose venues that are accessible to as many of our listeners as possible. Another factor would be the existence of local productions, as we wanted to collaborate with and support local scenes,” the group said in a statement.

The "Alegorya" Philippine tour comes just after Munimuni's third major performance on July 20, 2024, at the UP Theater in Quezon City.
