The Philippines' Dia Maté won the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 title on the coronation night of the pageant in Bolivia.

Eight years have passed since PH bet Winwyn Marquez won the 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant before Maté's victory. Michelle Arceo came in second runner-up in 2023.

During the pageant's grand finale, Dia stood out among 23 competitors from different nations with Hispanic influences.

Who is Dia?

Lea and Mike Mate, who work in business and marketing, are the parents of Dia. Her grandmother is Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, and she comes from Cavite’s powerful Remulla political clan.

At the Miss World Philippines 2024 coronation night in July 2024, Maté was selected as the Philippines' representative to the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 contest.

She competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2024, representing Cavite as well.
