Philippine boxing icon Manny Pacquiao will appear on "Physical: Asia," the next episode of Netflix's Korean reality competition series "Physical: 100.”
A team-based concept split into nations of origin, and Physical: Asia features Pacquiao for the Philippine squad. Originally, the show included 100 athletes with ultra-fit physiques allocated to individual challenges.
Physical: Asia in a nutshell
Netflix clarified in a press release that "Physical: Asia" is a team competition, meaning that "if a single teammate falls, the entire squad is eliminated."
"Pacquiao, revered worldwide as the only boxer in history to acquire titles in eight weight divisions, brings his formidable talent and indomitable spirit to this team-based clash of champions," Netflix said.
According to Netflix, "Physical: Asia" will debut in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Hit Korean show
"Physical: 100," the first season of which debuted in 2023, enthralled audiences all over the world and became the first Korean reality series to rank among Netflix's Global Top 10 Non-English TV Series.
Pacquiao is known by his nickname "PacMan" and is considered by many to be among the best professional boxers of all time. He also held a Senatorial post from 2016 to 2022.
