In a thrilling display of athleticism, Zamboanga City emerged as the top contender in the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Games 2024. The Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office IX confirmed Zamboanga City's victory after tallying up the medals.

Zamboanga City clinched the championship with an impressive haul of 292 medals, comprising 102 golds, 97 silvers, and 93 bronzes. This remarkable performance secured their lead in the competition.

Zamboanga Del Sur and Dipolog City put up fierce competition, landing in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. Zamboanga Del Sur amassed 251 medals, while Dipolog City followed closely behind with 240 medals. However, their medal distribution differed, with Zamboanga Del Sur boasting 101 golds, while Dipolog City accumulated 87 golds.
Noteworthy Performances
Zamboanga Sibugay and Pagadian City showcased commendable efforts, securing the 4th and 5th positions, respectively. Despite fewer total medals, their achievements were significant. Zamboanga Sibugay's 35 gold medals and Pagadian City's 28 gold medals highlighted their strength in specific events.
Remaining Rankings
The competition saw Zamboanga Del Norte claiming the 6th position, followed by Isabela City in 7th and Dapitan City in 8th. Each delegation demonstrated resilience and sportsmanship throughout the games.
