Pop Mart has officially opened its first-ever permanent store in the Philippines, giving local collectors a long-awaited space to explore the brand’s iconic designer toys. The flagship store opened its doors on Friday at Level 2, Building A of SM Megamall, marking a major milestone in Pop Mart’s growing presence in the country.
A New Hub for Designer Toy Fans
The permanent store offers an expansive and immersive shopping experience designed for fans of collectible art toys. Inside, shoppers can browse limited-edition figures, exclusive drops, and Pop Mart’s signature blind boxes that have fueled its global popularity. To celebrate the holiday season, the brand also unveiled a towering 40-foot Pop Mart Christmas tree at the Mega Fashion Hall, which will remain on display until January 11.
Exclusive Events and Fan Experiences
As part of the store launch celebrations, Pop Mart will host a special fan signing event on December 21 featuring Lang, the creator of the popular character Hirono. Only 100 fans will be selected through a mix of online registration, online contests, and an offline raffle. Chosen participants will enjoy exclusive shopping access from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the fan signing session from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
From Pop-Ups to a Permanent Home
Ahead of its public opening, the store held a media day and ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by celebrities and Pop Mart fans, including Marian Rivera, Pauleen Luna, Jed Madela, and Hero Angeles.
Pop Mart previously opened pop-up stores at SM Mall of Asia, SM Makati, and SM North Edsa. Known for beloved characters like Labubu, Hirono, and Skullpanda, the opening of a permanent store signals Pop Mart’s confidence in the Philippines’ fast-growing community of designer toy collectors.
