Promoting P-pop and OPM
Pablo said the festival aims to bring Filipino pop music to a wider international audience.
“One of the goals is to really promote P-pop, OPM all over the world,” he said.
He also teased special guests and sub-units, adding, “Mayroon kaming mga special guests. Mayroon kaming mga sub-units, if you already saw SB19 perform, what more if with more twists.”
J2X compared the variety of performances to eating at a carinderia, where audiences can find something for every taste. XONARA member Tin said the group had been preparing its performances since July.
Will the festival reach the regions?
The Araneta Group lists One Zone Fest at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 24 and 25.
For fans outside Metro Manila, attending means traveling to Cubao, Quezon City. As of October 22, 1Z Entertainment has not announced plans to bring the festival to other cities or regions.
